Become provider of continuing education

All organizations that wish to respect the procedure of NBCC Romania concerning the organizing of activities granting continuing education hours are welcomed to join the providers' community.

Steps to be followed:

Organizations will ask the approval to become a provider by filling in and sending the form "Solicitare autorizatie" (download from section "Formulare"), to which they will attach the Organization CV (a presentation of 2 pages regarding its activities, projects, team etc).

After sending these documents to NBCC Romania (contact@nbcc.ro) and no other information is needed, NBCC Romania will issue the authorization and register your organization as an official provider of continuing education activities. As a result, after organizing such an event, attendees will receive certificates with hours of continuing education, valid for recertification.

The authorization to become provider does not replace the authorization which must be required for each event that you plan to organize. This authorization is granted based on the information included in "Formularul de aprobare a evenimentelor cu ore de educaţie continuă" (check in the section "Formulare"), which should be filled in and sent to NBCC Romania every time you plan an event.

Events focusing on one of the 12 GCDF competency areas are strongly supported by NBCC Romania. These areas are:
1. Career Development Models.
2. Helping Skills.
3. Diverse Populations.
4. Assessment.
5. Technology.
6. Labor Market Information and Resources.
7. Employability Skills.
8. Training Clients and Peers.
9. Program Management/Implementation.
10. Promotion and Public Relations.
11. Supervision.
12. Ethical and Legal Issues.

As well, all other topics related to counseling, needed or requested by counselors / trainers / supervisors are welcomed to be themes for events granting continuing education hours.
