Continuing education activities

NBCC Romania actively supports counseling in Romania and the creation of a strong counseling community. As a consequence, all organizations are encouraged to organize activities granting hours of continuing education (CEd hours).

Workshops, conferences, talks on topics considered interesting and important by the career counseling community are the base of activities that can grant hours of continuing education to GCDFs. Generally, activities approaching at least one GCDF competency area are qualified for the above mentioned purpose.

GCDFs should acquire 75 continuing education hours during 5 years of certification in order to apply for receiving a new certificate. These hours can be acquired through participation to events organized by NBCC Romania or by other authorized providers.

All organizations that intend to organize such events are invited to contact NBCC Romania (contact@nbcc.ro) in order to request the detailed procedure. Whether needed assistance and support from NBCC Romania for implementing such activities, all organizations are welcomed to ask for.
