GCDF Recertification

The GCDF Certificate is 5 years valid and the recertification requires practice, supervision, continuing education (for more details about this topic, check the section of our site dedicated to "continuing education") within the above mentioned competence areas. As well, career consultants should adhere and respect the GCDF ethic code.

Every 5 years, NBCC Romania will contact career consultants to remind them about the possibility and the conditions to receive a new GCDF certificate. The prerequisite conditions for receiving a new certificate are:
- inform NBCC Romania whether you want a new certificate,
- realize 75 continuing education hours, within the 12 GCDF competency areas during the 5 years of GCDF validity,
- maintain all certificate, diplomas and attendance proofs which you might have obtain during the previous 5 years since you got your GCDF Certificate,
- ask for consultancy and supervision every time you face difficulties in your activity,
- adhere and respect the GCDF ethic code,
- fill in the specific forms required by NBCC Romania for your recertification file and pay the recertification fee (60 euro).
