Associate Vice President for NBCC International (www.nbccinternational.org); Vice President for the European Board for Certified Counselors (www.europeanbcc.eu), responsible for the NBCC International operations in Europe (headquarter in Lisbon, Portugal).
President of the Romanian Counselors' Association (www.asociatiaconsilierilor.ro) and member of the Executive Board of International Association for Counseling (www.iac-irtac.org).
Associate Professor (on leave) at Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiesti, Romania, one of the first counselor educators in Romania. Expertise oriented towards the practice of career counseling, counselor education, development of the counseling profession, and certification across borders.
Degree in Education at University of Bucharest (1995); Doctorate in Education (with the first counseling theme in Romania). Global Career Development Facilitator USA in 2003, National Certified Counselor USA in 2005, Mental Health Facilitator in 2007.

 

Marilena Petrec

Marilena Petrec holds a MS in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering and a Master's degree in Career Counseling from the University "Politehnica" of Bucharest.
Managing partner of the APT Group (link to www.apt.ro) (Consulting, HR, BPO, PR and IT services) and responsible with the strategic development of the companies, Marilena has been involved with complex projects developed during the 15 years since the foundation of the group. Among them: consulting project for licensing and set up of Demir Bank Romania (subsidiary of Demir Tas. Turkey); introduction and branch development of Western Union Financial Services in Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey; setting up and on-going management of a 500+ employee outsourced service operation center; complex communication projects for international clients like: Aviva, HP, Piaget, Longines, Tissot and Lions Clubs.
She also delivers management and leadership programs within EVOLUTION, the APT Development Centre.
Marilena is also a GCDF and a certified assessment/ development centre specialist. Since September 2008 she is the Executive Director of NBCC Romania, responsible with the NBCC Romania operations, local development of the counseling profession and support of the NBCC initiatives.

Cristina Nedelcu

Cristina Nedelcu graduated the Faculty of History in 2002 (The University of Bucharest) and then she have continued her studies with a M.A. in International Relations (The University of Bucharest) during which she have benefited from a scholarship at RWTH Aachen, Germany. Since her specialty field has been the Middle East area, she oriented towards completing her education graduating the studies in Arabic and Russian at the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures, the University of Bucharest. At the moment, she is studying for her Ph.D. paper in Romania's foreign policy at the Romanian Academy.
Until 2007, she worked for the University of Bucharest, Open Distance Learning Department, having as main task the management of some open distance specialties such as School Counseling, Pedagogy, and Educational Management etc.
As member in APT's team, she became certified trainer by the CNFPA (National Council for Adult Vocational Training). She is the executive assistant of NBCC Romania.
