• In June 2011 the first annual meeting of GCDF trainers took place in Bucharest.
• In May 2011, NBCC Romania organized the workshop "Counselor's Professional Development", held by the trainers Slavita Carmazan and Marilena Petrec in Ploiesti. Attendees received 7 hours of continuing education.
• In November 2010, NBCC Romania organized the workshop "Social Inclusion and career counseling", held by Prof. Ecaterina Vrasmas and prof. Traian Vrasmas. Attendees received 7 hours of continuing education.
• In July 2010, took place the course Supervision "Models and Techniques in Helping Professions", which was the first step in organizing a certification program. Frequently, NBCC Romania organizes supervision sessions that are opened to all counselors.
• In November 2009, NBCC Romania organized the course "Train the Trainer GCDF". The program had been developed by NBCC Romania and addressed experienced GCDF graduates who would like to deliver the GCDF Program on their own or through their organization. The graduates of this class will become GCDF certified trainers and they will be able to extend their portfolio in a period when the market is expecting career counseling services.
• NBCC Romania, in partnership with APT Resources & Services, HR Club and AmCham Romania organized the conference "Interview with the Crisis" in April 2009. The conference sessions examined the current economic crisis from several HR perspectives, offering insights from the wide range of expert backgrounds of the foreign and Romanian speakers at this event. During the conference Dr. Scott Hinkle, coordinator of the Clinical Training Program NBCC International organized the workshop „How does crisis impact the workplace?".
• NBCC Romania was partner of the University Petrol Gaze from Ploiesti in organizing the conference „Science and Technology in the Context of Sustainable Development", which took place in November 2008. To this event have participated representatives of NBCC offices from various countries, as well as well known consultants and counselors. During the conference, two workshops took place: „Solution Focused Approach in Career Counseling: Focusing on Strengths and Solutions" under the guidance of Nevin Dölek and „The Counseling Relationship: Building Skills for Effectiveness" under the guidance of Charles Gressard.
• NBCC International-Europe, in cooperation with NBCC Romania, organized on December 14- 15, 2007 a certification training for counseling supervision.
• NBCC International-Europe and NBCC Romania in collaboration with the Center for Career Counseling and Guidance at Petru Maior University organized in 2005 the seminar "Communication Skills in the Counseling Relationship";
• NBCC International-Europe, NBCC Romania and the Center for Career Counseling and Guidance at Petru Maior University sponsored in 2005 the lecture "Global Aspects of Counseling" by Dr. Scott Hinkle, Clinical Training Coordinator for NBCC International;
• NBCC International-Europe, NBCC Romania and the Center for Career Counseling and Guidance at Petru Maior University have supported the formation of the Master Program "Management and Career Counseling" within the Faculty of Economic, Juridical, and Administrative Sciences at the university.
• NBCC USA in collaboration with the Center for Career Counseling and Guidance at Petru Maior University, organized in 2005 "Career Counseling and The Global Labor Market".
• NBCC USA together with the Department of Education from Politehnica University and Fachhochschule Frankfurt Am Main - University of Applied Sciences, Germany, collaborated in 2004 to organize the workshop "Career Counseling and European Integration", a first for Romania.
• NBCC USA, in collaboration with the Department of Education from Politehnica University from Bucharest sponsored the first Master Program in Career Counseling in Romania 2003 - 2005.
